Our diving excursion to one of the most beautiful beaches along the Red Sea coast, the impressive Abu Dabbab beach, about 30 km from Marsa Alam Airport starts with the pick-up from your accommodation in Marsa Alam.
Abu Dabbab Turtles Red Sea
Abu Dabbab, the famous bay close to
Marsa Alam, is perfect for dive professionals and beginners. A clean sandy beach and the colorful
Red Sea underwater world, with giant sea turtles that live in this area, awaits you. Because of its residents, the area is also called
Turtle Bay.
Shore Diving – Scuba Diving from Beach
Grab the chance to reach the wonderful coral reef of
Abu Dabbab directly from the beach. A trip by boat is not necessary to explore the beautiful dive site, and this makes our
Diving Abu Dabbab excursion a real adventure for the whole family. After reaching the beach, we prepare for the first of our
2 Dives
in
Abu Dabbab Bay. The richly overgrown coral reef right at the entrance of the bay leads through a shallow lagoon, partly overgrown with seagrass, to our first dive spot in the
Abu Dabbab Dugong Bay
One of the main attractions of
Turtle Bay is the dugong that lives here, one of the few surviving specimens of the breed of manatees. The Bay with its seaweed provides for the
Dugong food and shelter at the same time. Keep your eyes open while diving you might spot a
Dugong grazing!
Diving Abu Dabbab
With our
Diving Abu Dabbab excursion, you have the opportunity to dive together with a dive guide first to the southern or the northern coral reef. After a break and some free time to relax at
Abu Dabbab Beach, we start our second dive.
Don’t forget to take your underwater camera with you to take some photos of the giant sea turtles and the rare
Dugong that mostly stays in the middle of the
Abu Dabbab Bay to eat some seagrass here.
After this exciting
Diving Abu Dabbab tour, we drive you back to one of the
Marsa Alam Hotels.
