2 Dive Spots – Marsa Shouna

After a 45-minute boat ride, we reach Marsa Shouna, our first dive spot for today.

It awaits you an impressive reef wall with various fish and other animals like octopus, scorpionfishes and other underwater creatures that find shelter and food at this spot. Enjoy this dive site with all its details and its inhabitants. If an underwater camera is on hand, this is the perfect time to take some wonderful underwater shots.

After finishing the dive, we return on the boat, where a freshly prepared lunch buffet, made by the crew, is waiting for you. After lunch, you have some time to relax on deck as we make our way to the second dive spot, the

Marsa Mubarak dive site

The Marsa Mubarak dive site is an insider tip for divers worldwide and perfect for dive beginners and very experienced divers. Apart from its variety of colorful corals, the reef on this side of the bay, with its rich food, offers many colorful fish species and sea turtles the perfect habitat.

One of the biggest attractions at the Marsa Mubarak dive site is a Dugong, part of the endangered breed of manatee, of which only a few are left.

The seagrass meadows in the shallow bay of Marsa Mubarak and the warm water provide enough food for the dugong and, at the same time, a protected habitat. Have your underwater camera ready you might get the chance to take a photo while the Dugong (manatee) is grazing. Depending on the season, a spinner dolphin or even a whole group can be seen in this beautiful bay.
