Best Fishing Spots Red Sea  

Leave it up to our experienced captain to choose the best fishing spots in the Red Sea for you. Are you a professional angler and want to take your private equipment with you? No problem and for everyone else our basic equipment is available free of charge, special equipment can be rented (see our list).  

The Red Sea is awaiting you with different fish species, from colorful reef dwellers to big fish, that you can catch while deep-sea fishing. It may be a struggle before you can bring your big catch onboard, prepare yourself for this! 

Our overnight Fishing Trip Hurghada increases the chance of a bigger catch. Big fishes are outside of the shore waters and we at least two hours by boat to reach some spots in the open sea.  

Ready to go? We are heading for our first stop, where you can start to try your luck.  

It depends on your catch quota how long we stay in one place. Maybe you succeed immediately and have a good catch. Decide to put it on ice, or leave it to our chef to prepare a fresh meal with your big catch.

After a hopefully successful Hurghada Fishing trip, the evening begins with a cosy get-together on deck. Enjoy the light breeze under the clear starry sky with a dinner onboard until it's time for a relaxed sleep in your cabin.

Informations:  

All fishing from the shore requires a valid fishing licence issued by the Egyptian Coast Guard. On our Hurghada fishing trips on a charter boat, you don't need to worry about a license, our tour guide only needs your ID.   

It should be clear to everyone that nature conservation is our top priority. Make sure you keep enough distance from the reefs when fishing or snorkeling so as not to damage them.

Groupers  

The best time for catching Groupers is usually June and July. They are on the top of the catch list and fun to catch, especially when using live bait while bottom fishing. Groupers can hardly resist a moving bite.  

Tuna  

The popular Tuna migrates in large groups through the Red Sea from January to June. Different species offer a real battle once you get them on the fishing rod. Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin, Dogtooth Tuna and Skipjack Tuna can be found on the surface. This is also the best spot for trolling. 

Sailfish  

The best months for the Sailfish hunt, a large fish that stays in deep water, are February, July and August. It takes a lot of skills to catch a Sailfish that is known as a fighter. Live bait is recommended, like small fish or squid.   

Fishing Tips  

For hunting fishermen, the time in the waters off Hurghada is best between December and March.
