Early in the morning, we start from your accommodation in Marsa Alam with the transfer to Hamata Port from where we make our way to Shaab Sataya, with its 45 meters the largest reef in the Red Sea.
Before we start, our boat crew will welcome you with a short safety briefing about the behaviour onboard and in the water during our tour. After everybody on board found a spot to relax, we start with the approximately two-hour journey from Hamata Port to our first dive spot, Sataya.
The Sataya Reef, located in the area of the so-called Dolphin House, is an intact living reef with a variety of colorful fish species. Keep your eyes open for beautiful fishes like the Napoleon fish that found his home here in the reef area. The coral splendour of the soft and hard coral gardens, protected from the current by the reef, will definitely cast a spell over you and don't be surprised if one of the giant sea turtles approaches you during the dive.
After an exciting dive, we will meet back on board for a delicious menu prepared by the boat crew while you were in the water. Relax a little bit on board before you make yourself ready for our second dive of the day.
We are sure you already know that by joining our Marsa Alam diving excursion to the famous Sataya Reef, you are directly in the area that is home to several dolphin families, the Sataya Dolphin House. Dolphins are super curious and love to accompany snorkelers and divers on their way. Please follow the instructions of your dive guide and do not touch these animals as they have very sensitive skin.
At the second dive spot, you will have plenty of time to explore the wonderful reef and don’t forget to take some photos of the fascinating Red Sea underwater world with your underwater camera.
After some beautiful impressions at the Sataya Reef and the natural habitat of the dolphins, we take you with the boat back to Hamata Port to escort you from here back to one of the Marsa Alam Hotels.
